The Trippel SG 6/38 was an amphibious car developed in Germany during the late 1930s by engineer Hans Trippel. While produced in relatively small numbers compared to the later Volkswagen Schwimmwagen, it nonetheless served with reconnaissance and engineer units, particularly in areas where river crossings and water obstacles were common.
