The Chevrolet G506 series were 1½-ton, 4x4 military vehicles produced by the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors during WWII. They entered service in 1940 and were used in various roles including cargo, fuel and water tankers, communications, maintenance and repair, construction and ambulances.
