Horyuji Temple is the head temple of the Shotoku sect in Horyuji Sannai, Ikaruga-cho, Ikoma-gun, Nara Prefecture. There is no mountain number. The principal image is Shaka Nyorai. It is also known as Ikarugadera (both Ikarugadera and Ikaruga) and Horyu Gakugakuji.
