Explanation BAe The Sea Harrier FRS Mk.1 is the only fixed-wing shipboard aircraft of the Royal Naval Air Service with all-weather combat offensive capabilities. The Sea Harrier is a development of the Air Force's Harrier vertical takeoff and landing aircraft for shipboard use, with a 28cm raised cockpit. The nose of the aircraft is equipped with a Blue Fox anti-aircraft/anti-ship radar. It is capable of operating AIM-9L anti-aircraft missiles and P3T Sea Eagle anti-ship missiles.
