This sale is for the hull line drawing and detailed instruction booklet in order to construct the ‘Lady Betty’ 36” restricted class model pond yacht. This was designed in the 1950s by Bill Daniel’s and uses the ‘bread and butter’ construction method. Originally this design was featured in a five part series in model maker magazine in 1950/51. The first 4 parts dealt with the construction of the yacht, and this is what the instruction booklet comprises. The final part of the series dealt with the ‘braine’ automatic steering gear, which I shall also include a copy of. The instruction booklet contains all details of fittings required and rigging of the yacht, as well as basic sail dimensions and manufacture.
The "Plans And Build Instructions For âLady Bettyâ 36R Model Yacht From 1950s" product is a perfect fit for model yacht collectors who are interested in building an authentic replica of the iconic "Lady Betty" 36R yacht from the 1950s.
