A production prototype, the T1E4, was built, with the Maxson turret on a M3 vehicle. Standardised as Multiple Gun Motor Carriage M13, over 500 were built. An improved model, with four. 50 cal machine guns was produced in April 1942, the prototype being designated GMC T58.
