The CB series of Honda road sports bikes has a long and proud history of innovation. In March 2025 Honda announced that the flagship CB1300SF would succeed the CB1000F Concept. Shortly thereafter in November of the same year the CB1000F was launched. The design concept of the CB1000F as the Best Balance Roadster required that it feels comfortable in a variety of situations - from everyday life to tour. It adopts and modernizes the iconic Flowing Line design of its predecessor models CB750F/900F. The flowing lines from the tank to the side panels to the rear give the motorcycle a powerful and dynamic silhouette. The round LED headlight impresses with its modern yet traditional design surrounded by a ring-shaped light cone with chrome-plated edge and a centre section in which the Honda logo is engraved. At the rear the surface pattern of the seat is inspired by the CB750F and design elements such as the large rear light and exhaust that dominates the right side of the motorcycle attract attention. Some say the designation CB stands for the C in motor cycle and the B in Clubman but one could argue that this new version has a C for creative and a B for benchmark.
