With in excess of 30,000 aircraft produced, the Bf109 was one of the most important WWII Luftwaffe aircraft. The G-6 variant was the most prolifically manufactured, and was deployed from February 1943; it mounted the 1,475 hp DB605 engine and had its weaponry upgraded to 13 mm guns, whose feed tubes were covered by the “Beule” bulges on either side of the cockpit that were one highly recognizable feature of the G-6.
This product would be a great fit for model airplane enthusiasts who seek a detailed and accurate Messerschmitt Bf109 G-6 model to showcase their skills and passion.
