Product Introduction Yamashita Hobby 1/700 Model Series Destroyer Mikazuki 1943 Plastic Model Most of the Mutsutsuki-type destroyers were commercialized just after the Pacific War. Following the destroyer 'Bungetsu', the destroyer 'Mikazuki' was converted into a high-speed transport destroyer during the war. Like Bungetsu, two of the four main guns were lowered and one torpedo discharge tube was removed. Equipped with 25 mm and 3 mm, the Japanese Red Crescent Moon has strengthened its anti-aircraft armament and removed some of its power canisters when it was remodeled into a high-speed transport destroyer.
